Xiaomi is all set once again to release it’s two new wearable tech devices on its third session of the Smarter Living 2020 virtual event in India on September 29, 2020.
Not only that, but an AI-based smart speaker along with a bunch of other tech devices will also release alongside the Mi Smart Band 5 and Mi Watch Revolve, which is most likely Mi Watch Color.
Xiaomi made the announcement for Mi Smart Band 5 in June in China.
Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve specifications
Mi Watch Revolve, the successor of Mi Watch Color, features a stainless steel body along with a 1.39 inches AMOLED display of 454×454 resolution, 420 mAh battery that can last up to 14 days. The smartwatch has a 5ATM waterproof level, which means it can survive 50 meters underwater. Moreover, the smartwatch will run on Xiamoi’s operating system instead of Google’s Wear OS.
The Mi Watch Revolve comes with many watch faces, heart-rate minor, sleep tracker, air pressure sensor, and VO2 max monitor (maximal oxygen uptake monitor).
As far as we consider the pricing, tipster Ishan Agarwal leaked the prices in his tweet. The upcoming smartwatch will cost less than INR 9,999 whereas its MRP is INR 10,999.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 specifications
Mi Smart Band 5 comes in two variants standard and NFC one. It is a major upgrade over Mi Band 4 featuring a 1.1-inch colored AMOLED display which is 20 percent larger than its predecessor. Its battery charges from 0 to 100 percent in less than 2 hours. The NFC variant can last up to 14 days on a full charge. Whereas, the battery of the standard version of the smart band 5 can last up to 20 days. The band is likely to come with magnetic charging pins so it doesn’t require to be taken out from its strap every time to charge. Moreover, it is 50 meters water-resistant. Smart band 5 comes with 4 different colored straps.
Mi Smart Band 5 features 65 watch faces and 11 sports modes that are outdoor running, treadmill, cycling, walking, freestyle, pool swimming, elliptical, rowing machine, jump rope, indoor cycling, and yoga. It can also track running and walking footsteps, heart rate, and sleeping patterns. The 24-hours sleep monitoring provides 40% improved accuracy over its predecessor. Apart from that, it can show notifications, incoming calls, SMS, handle music, and more.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal stated in his tweet that the Mi Smart Band 5 will cost around INR 2,499 whereas it’s MRP is INR 2,999.
However, there’s no update intel regarding the price of the upcoming AI-based speaker.
