Realme has announced the launch of its new budget smartphone, the Realme 6i in India today. The Realme 6i can be seen as a step down in price and some features, from the pre-existing and very popular Realme 6. The pricing is quite competitive, and we expect the phone to compete with other popular smartphones such as the Galaxy M21, Redmi Note 9, and the Poco M2 Pro.

Realme 6i Key Features

The Realme 6i comes feature-packed with almost all the features that the Realme 6 initially came with. From the 90Hz 6.5-inch Full HD resolution display, MediaTek Helio G90T processor, support for 30W fast charging, quad-camera setup on the back, and the power button integrated fingerprint scanner. These set of features at such a price point make this a compelling option to consider. It has a 4300mAh battery and a well-rounded set of features. These include USB Type-C charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, support for WiFi ac, and dual 4G-VoLTE.

The downgrades are in the primary camera, which is now 48-megapixel down from 64-megapixel in the Realme 6. The other 3 cameras, namely – 8MP ultra-wide-angle, 2MP macro, and 2MP for depth sensing, are the same as seen in the Realme 6. The included fast charger in the box is also 20W for cost-cutting, even though the phone can support up to 30W of charging. The phone comes with a triple-slot, with support for 2 nano sims and a MicroSD card up to 256GB.
