Specification and Features

The Galaxy A01 Core packs inside 1GB of RAM, along with modest 16GB and 32GB of storage options. Powering the phone is a 1.5Ghz quad-core chipset, reportedly the Mediatek MT6739 SoC. For the display, Samsung has gone with a 5.3-inch PLS LCD with HD+ resolution. There are thick bezels on the top and bottom of this 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen, which is acceptable for its entry-level smartphone stature.

On the camera front, Samsung has got inside an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. A 5-megapixel front camera is there on the front for selfies and we can hope some average picture quality, considering Samsung rarely goes wrong with cameras, be it any price segment. The phone packs inside a 3,000 mAh battery which should be great considering the low power draw of the specifications mentioned above.

Summing up is a Micro-USB port for charging, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS support. The phone weighs in about 150 grams due to its plastic construction, which was to be expected. There is even support for MicroSD cards, which makes up for the average storage options available.
