LG CineBeam Laser 4K Projector Has an Unbelievable Feature to Offer

LG CineBeam Laser 4K Projector Promises an Unbelievable Feature

Projectors have the potential to render images sharper and larger than a normal television screen, but to use a projector you need to place it in a certain distance from the screen of the projector. It often causes a huge change in your room’s setup. The days of such ‘setup-changing’ projectors have come to an end with the increasing usage of Ultra Short Throw(UST) projectors. These devices sit close to the projection surface. LG CineBeam Laser 4K projector pushes the limit further, by getting even closer to the screen than UST projectors. It needs just 2inch separation from the projection surface.

LG unveiled their very first UST projector at CES 2018 and it was capable of creating a 150-inch display at 4K resolution. The first gen CineBeam – HU80KA was like a mini tower and cost around $3,000. The second generation HU85L looks much more compact, like a smart speaker.

A major selling point of this LG CineBeam Laser 4K Projector(model no.:- HU85L) is the requirement of only 2-inch clearance from the wall. There are no detailed specifications currently available about HU85L. We will come to know about all the features of this projector at CES 2019, in January.

The features about which we know:-

As far as we know this projector would be similar to the first generation of LG CineBeam(model no.- HU80KA), with some special upgrades. That means this CineBeam of model no. HU85L will be capable of delivering 2,500 ANSI lumens at 4K UHD resolution. We also hope for an improvement in color accuracy. Thanks to LG’s ThinQ technology users will be able to control different aspects of the projectors by voice commands. That means tasks, like turning the projector on and off or playing the latest videos from YouTube, can be done using voice commands.
