Digital payment war gets more fired up when the Samsung announced to greet its users in India with reward points on using its payments services which include Samsung Pay and Samsung pay mini. Users will get rewards irrespective of where and how they spend the money.

Samsung Pay (launched in March last year) users will earn rewards points on credit and debit card transaction, payment made through BHIM-UPI recharges and billing payments. In addition to this Samsung will also provide users with opportunities to earn Accelerated Rewards time to time.

The programme is already launched for Samsung Pay users in other global markets, including South Korea, US, China, Spain, Singapore, Australia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Russia, Thailand and Malaysia and is divided into three tiers – Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Users will move up the tier on the basis of the number of transaction they make. So, more you spend the more you will earn and the prizes could be grand as vacations, as reported by Samsung. Upgrade And Start Hunting For Points

To take the benefits and rewards, Samsung Pay users will need to upgrade the app to the latest version and register for Samsung Rewards. Additionally, with the new update, Samsung Pay Mini users will be able to add their FreeCharge wallet, which will be allowing users to add money, make payments to friends and to retailers.
