Lenovo Z5 Pro GT – Why is it in so Hype?
Surprisingly with an announcement, Lenovo revealed their new flagship phone in China: Lenovo Z5 Pro. Alongside Z5 pro, Lenovo announced a ‘GT’ version of this phone was released. Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is going to be one of the first phones in the world to use the latest Snapdragon 855 processor.
At the Beijing event on 18th December, Lenovo announced this new Android phone with 12 GB RAM, which is a new record in the smartphone industry. The phone will ship with internal storage up to 512GB. But a point of disappointment is that this phone won’t feature 5G radio yet.
Both the Z5 Pro and Z5 Pro GT are going to be all-screen smartphones with the front camera hidden behind a sliding mechanism. On the point of cameras, we have a setup of 24MP + 16MP dual rear cameras. In the front, we have 16MP + 8MP (infrared sensor) camera setup. According to the official website, these cameras feature sensors from SONY.
In the I/O department, Z5 Pro and Z5 Pro GT do not feature the headphone jack. Instead, their boxes include a 3.5 mm headphone jack dongle for USB-C port. For display 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED panel is used. Due to the use of a sliding mechanism this phone features 95.06% screen to body ratio when the front cameras are hidden. The Z5 Pro GT also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the other features, we have 3350mAh battery, support for NFC and dual nano SIM slots.
