We all are aware of wireless charging feature in smartphones. Some of the flagships like Samsung’s Note 9 and Apple’s iPhone XS Max are already in the market with this feature. On Tuesday, 16-October-2018 Huawei unveiled its new devices in a launch event in London. It launched Mate series smartphones Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RX and Mate 20 X. They also launched Huawei NM Card, Watch GT and Band 3 Pro.
The star of the show was the new Mate 20 Pro. According to Huawei, Mate 20 Pro comes with HiSilicon Kirin 980 (7nm) octa-core processor. The screen is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with the screen size of 6.39 inches protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen resolution is 1440×3120 Pixels (538 PPI). It will run on the latest Android version i.e, Android Pie (9.0). This flagship phone has a flagship camera too, Mate 20 is a monster when it comes to the camera. It has 3 rear cameras 40MP, 20MP and 8MP each supporting a different focal length. The front camera is 24MP wide angle camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with tonnes of features too. It supports the 3-D face unlock feature along with a fingerprint sensor under the screen. Mate 20 Pro is IP68 dust/water resistant which makes it more durable. Along with that it supports wireless charging and has a cool new feature called reverse charging which can charge other QI compatible phones. You can fill that energy bar in your friend’s phone for him to call someone, book an Uber or send an important document.
Huawei does not only showed the features but also the power. Huawei rivaled the Samsung’s Note 9 and claimed that it has better Android software than Samsung’s. They also added that Mate 20 pro is 22 per cent more stable and 14 per cent more power efficient while gaming. This release sets a new benchmark and challenges in the smartphone industry. And right now Huawei have dominated the game in Smartphone innovation.
