But now, after a few days, specifications and renders of the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G have surfaced online. Along with this, the pricing of Samsung’s yet unannounced phone has also leaked ahead of its official launch. Let’s have a look at what the latest leak tells us about the upcoming Galaxy smartphone.
According to WinFuture, a german blog that has leaked the details about the rumored Galaxy A72 4G handset, the upcoming 4G phone will have a similar design to that of its 5G counterpart. The leaked marketing renders suggest that the phone will come in at least four distinct color options. Apart from this, the phone appears to have a hole-punch display, similar to its 5G variant, along with a quad rear camera setup. Samsung Galaxy A72 4G Specs, Features (Expected)
The 4G variant of the rumored Samsung Galaxy A72 will feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box and will have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720H SoC under the hood. The chipset will be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Further, the report claims that users can expand this storage via a micoSD card. Apart from this, to keep the lights on the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G may pack a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
For optics, the upcoming Galaxy A72 4G will have a quad rear camera setup with a 62-megapixel primary sensor. The other camera sensors will include an 8MP secondary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. However, some rumors also claim that there will be a 32-megapixel primary sensor. Furthermore, the Samsung 4G phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric unlocking. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As per the report from WinFuture.de, the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G price will start at EUR 449 (about ₹39,600) in Europe. Theis price tag is for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB model. The high-end 8GB RAM + 256GB variant could carry a higher price tag. Previous reports had also claimed the same price tag for the Galaxy A72 4G.
