Nokia has launched a new affordable pair of truly wireless earbuds — the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite — in India. The new entry-level earbuds bring a stylish design and some cool features that users will like very much. Notably, the Power Earbuds Lite is the toned-down version of Nokia’s last year’s Power Earbuds. The South Korean tech giant had launched them back at the IFA 2019 and made them available for the European market back in September 2020. Now HMD has silently launched the Lite version of these earbuds in India.
Nokia Power Earbuds Lite Specifications
According to HMD, the new truly wireless earbuds, ie. Nokia Power Earbuds Lite gives a “crystal clear” sound — thanks to the 6mm graphene audio drivers. The earbuds use Bluetooth v5.0 to connect with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and Bluetooth-enabled televisions. However, there is no application to control them. Further, the new earbuds feature a stylish design, and the company says it has an ergonomic fit. The large surface on HMD’s new earbuds allows for easy gesture navigation to control media playback, set volume levels, and manage calls.
Apart from the physical features, the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite can withstand water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The earbuds have an IPX7 rating for protection against sweat or water, which is good for resisting water splashes. But do not go swimming or showering while wearing these earbuds. For battery capacity, HMD says that the case of the earbuds will provide up to 30 hours of music in one charge — all thanks to the 600mAh battery. It has a USB-C port for charging. Also, there’s a 50mAh battery in each earbud that can deliver 5-hours of music playback in a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
In India, the pricing for the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite is fixed at ₹3,599. The earbuds will be available in two colorways — Charcoal and Snow. They’ll go on sale on February 17 and carry a discount offer for users who also buy a Nokia 3.4. You can purchase the new earbuds at a ₹1,600 discount when you place an order for the Nokia 3.4, which costs ₹11,999 and is available for pre-order. However, this offer is limited and valid between February 10 and February 19.
