CES 2019: Corsair Unveils Three Mice and the New Slipstream Wireless Technology
Corsair is a brand well known for PC gaming peripherals and PC components. In CES 2019 Corsair launched three new performance gaming mice: Harpoon RGB Wireless, Ironclaw RGB and M65 RGB ELITE.
Harpoon RGB Wireless
The new Harpoon RGB is using the latest Slipstream Corsair Wireless Technology. This mouse has sub-1ms latency in the receiver end. This mouse provides hyper-fast 2.4GHz gaming grade wireless speed, all thanks to Slipstream Technology.
Due to Slipstream Technology, the mouses send twice the number of packets than a normal wireless mouse. This ensures strong-signal even in heavy wireless traffic with Intelligent Frequency Shift (IFS). Slipstream Technology gives a robust wireless range up to 33ft.
Harpoon lets the user connect mouse over low-latency Bluetooth and USB. According to Corsair the Lithium-Polymer battery for up to 60 hours of wireless battery life (in Bluetooth). Harpoon weighs just 99 grams and offers 10,000 DPI optical sensor. There are 6 programmable buttons in this RGB mouse.
Ironclaw RGB mouse
Corsair designed Ironclaw RGB for larger hand and palm grips. Ironclaw RBG boasts to have Corsair’s most advanced optical sensor – a custom PMW3391. Corsair developed this sensor in collaboration with industry leader Pixart. This mouse can support up to 18000 DPI in 1 DPI steps for ultra-accurate, customizable tracking. This mouse is only 105g despite having full RGB, 7 programmable buttons and onboard profile storage.
M65 RGB Elite
M65 RGB elite is another mouse from the Corsair’s CES-2019 lineup which is an upgraded version made on the basis of feedback from thousands of M65 users. This mouse supports up to 18000 DPI as it has the same optical sensor as Ironclaw RGB mouse. Corsair reduced the weight of this mouse by over 15% and now it weighs 97 grams only. This mouse comes with a weight adjusting system which can increase its weight up to 115 grams.
