Huawei has launched FreeBuds 4i True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones in China as successors to the FreeBuds 3i TWS earphones. The new TWS earphones are quite similar to their predecessors in terms of stem design. However, the design of their case is quite different from the FreeBuds 3i. Available in three color options, the FreeBuds 4i boast of impressive battery life with 10 hours of playback. Apart from this, the new TWS earphones offer features like active noise cancellation, touch controls, and more.
Huawei FreeBuds 4i Specs, Features
Huawei FreeBuds 4i true wireless stereo earphones feature 10mm moving coil drivers. They come with active noise cancellation and use Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity. Also, these earphones feature dual-microphone noise reduction during voice calls. Further, there the support for touch input that allows you to control music playback, answer or reject calls, and more. For example, you can double-tap to control your music, answer or reject voice calls, long press to switch between ambient sound transmission, noise reduction, and off mode.
Apart from this, the FreeBuds 4i pack 55mAh batteries in the earbuds and a 215mAh battery in the charging case. Huawei claims that the earbuds can last up to 7.5 hours with noise reduction turned on. When the noise reduction is turned off, the earbuds last for over 10 hours, says the company. Further, the earbuds take an hour to charge when in the case and a 10-minute charge delivers up to four hours of battery life.
FreeBuds 4i Price, Availability
The FreeBuds 4i have been launched in China and carry a price tag of CNY 499 (roughly ₹5,600). As said before, they come in three color options — Carbon Crystal Black, Ceramic White, and Honey Red. The new earphones are currently available for pre-booking on VMall and the company will start shipping them from March 8. Currently, there is no information on the international availability of these TWS earphones. Only the time will tell when or if the Huawei FreeBuds 4i will launch in international markets.
