After days of leaks and teasers, Realme has launched the Realme V15 5G in China. This is the company’s latest budget smartphone in its V series. Coming as the company’s latest 5G device, it costs less than the Realme X7 handset.
The Realme V15 comes with a hole-punch AMOLED display, a triple rear camera, and 50W fast charging. Though the handset is arriving with a 64MP camera and 50W fast charging, it also misses out on a few things. Realme V15 5G Specifications, Price
The newly-launched Realme V15 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This Realme device has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8% with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone derives power from a powerful octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset clocked at 2.4GHz. The SoC is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Further, the device runs on Android 10 with Realme’s custom Android skin on top.
In terms of optics, the Realme V15 sports a triple rear camera setup that carries a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front of phone, there is a 16MP camera for taking selfies and video calling and an in-display fingerprint sensor. As said before, the V15 offers 128GB of onboard storage without the support for a microSD card. Further, the phone packs a 4,310mAh battery with support for wired 50W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
Price and Availability
The Realme V15 5G with 6GB RAM is priced at CNY 1,399 (roughly ₹15,900). Its 8GB RAM variant will cost you CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹22,700). For colors, the smartphone will come in three color options — Crescent Silver, Koi, and Mirror Lake Blue. The phone will go on sale starting January 14 in China.
