It seems like OPPO is working on adding a new smartphone to its A-series. Recently, a new handset from the A-series has appeared on a Chinese e-commerce website ahead of the launch. An unannounced 5G version of the Oppo A93 has been listed on China’s Tmall website, revealing key specs and looks of the upcoming phone. Expectedly, the Oppo A93 is close to its launch and will reportedly start taking pre-orders from January 15 in China.
Oppo A93 5G Specifications and Features
As per the Tmall’s listing, OPPO’s upcoming handset in the A-series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor. The Oppo A93 5G is said to sport a 6.5-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Further, the listing shows that the Oppo A93 5G phone will carry a flat-screen, which is quite opposite to the previous renders.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A93 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. The other two cameras may include a 2MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For storage, the phone will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There will also be a microSD card slot to expand the device storage. Apart from this, the phone will run on Android 11-based ColorOS 11 and will pack a 5,000mAh battery inside. It will come with the support for 18W fast charging.
Price and Availability
According to the Tmall website listing, the Oppo A93 5G will cost CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹22,500) in China. However, some reports say that the phone will cost CNY 2,1999 (about ₹25,500). And as said before, the pre-orders for this handset will reportedly begin on January 15 in China. After five days, the sales may begin for the phones on January 20.
