Huawei Will Launch Its New Flagship P20 Pro in India on April 24

Huawei recently announced its two new smartphones: The P20 Pro and the P20 Lite. The P20 Pro features top notch specs along with a triple camera setup on the back. Huawei is prepping up to launch these new devices in India. The company has posted teasers on Twitter. Going by these teasers the phones will be launching in India on April 24. Amazon India already has a page for the upcoming devices. Huawei had announced the phones in March this year and the company has been pretty quick to get the devices rolling in India. The P20 Pro has been gaining a lot of attention since the day it was launched, all thanks to the new triple camera setup. The P20 Pro is a camera-centric smartphone sporting a Leica manufactured camera setup.

Huawei P20 Pro specs:

The phone is powered by Huawei’s Octa-core processor, The Kirin 970.  The processor is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It sports a 6.10-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2240 * 1080 pixels. The display comes in a taller form factor sporting an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. On the rear where things come to life for the P20 Pro, you will find a Leica powered triple camera setup. There is a 20MP monochrome lens, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 40MP RGB lens, with up to 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, laser and phase detection autofocus.

The P20 Pro can record 4K videos for you at 30fps followed by 1080p recording up to 60fps. On the front, there is a 24MP f/2.0 snapper. The phone runs on EMUI 8.1 built on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

Huawei P20 Lite specs:

Huawei is also launching the P20 Lite along with the P20 Pro. The P20 lite will serve as Huawei’s mid-range phone in the Indian market. The phone will be powered by Kirin 659 which is an octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

P20 Pro features a dual camera setup on the rear with a 16MP main sensor complemented by the 2MP secondary camera. The phone sports a 5.85-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. All this will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging on board.

Coming to the prices the P20 Pro was announced at 899 Euros (INR 72530). Furthermore, theP20 Lite was announced at 369 Euros (INR 29,740). The phones will expectedly be launching at lower prices in India.
